This cabin could have many uses. It could provide an impressive, private retreat for your guests or adult children, or could act as the primary suite for the owners away from the hustle and bustle of the main cottage. Certainly, the Buckhorn 4133 could be the stand-alone building on a property, as it’s fully serviced with all the comforts needed to enjoy your getaway property.

The Osler 4132

2,441 sq ft

The Osler 4132 is a modern timber frame Scandinavian cabin house plan that showcases the beauty of timber frame in a minimalistic design. For this house plan, our designers took inspiration from Scandinavian architecture. The Scandinavian climate is similar ours here in Canada with long, dark winters that include high winds, lots of snow, and frigid temperatures. Scandinavian architecture is noted for its clean lines, use of natural materials, capturing natural light, and expertly blending the building into the surrounding landscape.

The curb appeal of the Osler Scandinavian cabin is undeniable. Deep roof overhangs on the front and back of the building usher you into the home and provide protection from the elements as you come and go.

We’ve shown The Osler with decking on three sides of the building, including a 275 sq.ft. 3-season Muskoka room. There’s lots of room and vantage points to enjoy the surrounding views whether it be the ski slopes, the forest, or a sunset.

The Redstone 3975

2,136 sq ft

The Redstone cottage design lends itself well to either a traditional or modern aesthetic. The efficient open layout maximizes views from all the rooms. The multiple walkouts to a large deck, patio, and spacious screened in porch work to bring the outdoors in.

This stunning cottage plan was designed with functionality and beauty in mind. The Redstone is a timber frame combination cottage plan featuring a main floor master bedroom with en-suite, open concept kitchen, dining, and living room with cathedral ceiling, and practical covered entry porch.

The Bayfield 3945

The Bayfield cottage plan features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room bring a contemporary feel. The vaulted great room enhances the modern style.
